1. To clean carpet by hand, dilute 1 part Allbrite Purple Carpet Shampoo with 4 parts water and use as a pre-spotter by spraying on stained areas and letting it sit 5-10 minutes. Then use hot water and a brush to spread the shampoo that was sprayed as a pre-spotter; wipe off the excess water and air the carpet for drying.
2. To clean carpets using a carpet extractor, add 1-2 oz. of Allbrite Purple Carpet Shampoo per gallon of hot water; wet vacuum or dry the carpet with towels.
